How much money are you spending on inefficient data preparation?

At Blue Hill, we recently published a benchmark report in which we made the case that dedicated data preparation solutions can produce significant efficiency gains over traditional methods such as custom scripts or Microsoft Excel. In conducting this study, we found some interesting results that can serve as the starting point of our analysis. Here, I want to add some much-needed context around the implicit monetary costs of data preparation efforts.
